South Australia is the artistic playground of Leith O’Malley.

His figurative, sometimes surreal interpretations of the world both within and around him has seen his artwork sought after by art enthusiasts, galleries, music festivals and magazines all around the world.

He continues to exhibit in various group and solo exhibitions and continues to exercise his infatuation with paint and charcoal in his studio most days and nights.

LeithO’Malley is represented by the following galleries:

Dallas – Ross Akard Gallery

Sydney - Francis Keevill Gallery

New York – Charlatan Ink

Melbourne - Smart Artz Galley

Adelaide - Geoffrey Stapleton Gallery

Artist’s Statement

I like to think of my work as original in its intent, with a fondness for line and texture, exploring different mediums and media. For me, creating art has always been a celebration of self expression, and I have a continuing love affair with both the joy and burden of this endless fascination.

I find there is still tremendous satisfaction in the act of drawing. Watching something materialise on a sheet of paper or blank canvas. There is something special about this act which draws me back time and time again. I’m curious about where this will lead.
